Images cannot be centred in CMS but OK on live site

This is not a bug. Images and their captions in freestyle sections are contained in a table. The doctype must be declared in the page template and the doctype must allow tables to be centred by using auto for left and right margins.

Some pages give error:
'arrTemplates[...].content is null or not an object

THIS IS A LEGACY ISSUE AND DOES NOT APPLY TO NEW WEBSITES.

When editing any text on some pages you get the above error (screenshot below), but on other pages, all text editing works.

SOLUTION:

  1. Create a new page template (this can be blank).
  2. In the template manager click 'Refresh CMS navigation panel'
  3. You will see on the left panel that the problematic pages do not have a colour code for their template.
  4. On the non-colour-coded (problematic) pages, open the page properties and select the main page template, then save.
  5. Now delete the temporary page template via the template manager.

"'arrTemplates[...].content' is null or not an object" when you publish a website

This may occur when you copy a page template via the 'copy' button in the template manager. Workaround: set the main menu to 'none' then set to the desired page template.
