PublishingWhen you make changes to your website in the CMS, nobody sees those changes until you publish your website. When you click publish (second row in the middle), all of your pages are published to your live website in one go. To see your live website, click the link in the top right corner. Remember that you may need to click the refresh button in Internet Explorer when viewing your live website to see the latest version of your web pages. Publish to your live website or a test web addressUnder the 'Account' tab you can choose where to publish your website: LIVE website will publish to your live domain name (www address), but only if it has been set up correctly (see setting up your domain). TEST website will publish to a test web address. Your live website will be unaffected if you publish to the test website. Anyone can see your test website if you give them the web address, so it's a handy way of getting feedback from others on changes you have made before committing your changes to your live website. The link in the top right corner of the CMS shows you where you website is due to be published. |
